Rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying, this organic Ugandan coffee offers inviting notes of vanilla, sweet raisin, and dark chocolate. The cup is full-bodied and naturally sweet, with a silky texture and a lingering chocolate finish.
Mount Elgon rises along the border of Uganda and Kenya and is home to thousands of small farmers growing organic coffee at high elevations. In Uganda’s Kapchorwa district, the Sipi Falls wet mill works with approximately 8,000 farms, collecting and processing coffee cherry from across the mountain’s northern slopes.
Located at approximately 1,800 meters, Sipi Falls manages each stage from cherry intake through drying and quality control. The centralized mill, established by exporter Kawacom, brought more consistent processing to a region where coffee was traditionally handled in small batches at individual farms. This approach helps produce clean, consistent coffees that showcase the character of the Mount Elgon terroir while supporting better returns for local farmers.
The result is a wonderfully rich and approachable cup—sweet, chocolate-forward, and equally at home as a morning brew or an after-dinner coffee.
