This washed lot comes from the highlands of Planadas, Tolima, where dedicated smallholder farmers—members of Asociación Ecológica Productora de Paz (ASEPROPAZ)—grow coffee on small plots between 1,500–2,050 meters above sea level. These producers hand-pick ripe cherries and process the coffee with care using their own micro-mills, preserving the unique character of the region.

As conflict has eased in recent years, associations like ASEPROPAZ have grown stronger—investing in sustainable, organic farming practices and community improvements like roadwork and local warehouses. Their work not only produces beautiful coffee, but also contributes to a more resilient future for the region.
