Their commitment earned organic certification in 2001 and Fair Trade certification in 2006, opening new opportunities for growers while supporting their local communities.

Today, Fair Trade premiums generated through COMSA help fund educational initiatives, including teachers' salaries, school supplies, and the construction of school kitchens that provide meals to children through the Merienda Escolar program.
