Ethiopia Yirgacheffe - Worka Sakaro

Bright, expressive, and unmistakably Ethiopian, this natural-process coffee bursts with vibrant notes of tangerine, raspberry, floral blossoms, and blackberry. The result is a lively, fruit-forward cup with delicate sweetness, a silky body, and a clean, elegant finish.

Produced at the Worka Sakaro Washing Station in Ethiopia's renowned Gedeb District, this coffee is grown at 1,995 meters above sea level in the village of Worka Chelbiesa. The station partners with dedicated local smallholder farmers who deliver only ripe, hand-picked cherries during harvest.

Upon arrival, every lot is carefully hand-sorted to select the highest-quality fruit. The cherries are then spread across raised drying beds, where they slowly sun-dry for approximately 21 days. This patient natural process allows the coffee's sugars and fruit characteristics to fully develop, creating the vibrant complexity and sweetness found in every cup. Once the ideal moisture level is reached, the coffee is milled, prepared for export, and carefully roasted to showcase its exceptional origin.
