Bolivia - FTO

From the lush mountains of Caranavi, Bolivia, this coffee comes from a group of 35 small specialty producers who are members of APROCAFE, a cooperative founded in 1999 and dedicated to ecological and Fair Trade–certified coffee production.

Since 2018, APROCAFE has embraced a forward-thinking agrotourism project, where visitors can tour member farms and take part in hands-on coffee cultivation — from harvesting and pulping to drying under the Bolivian sun. Led by the cooperative’s young producers, this initiative celebrates both innovation and tradition, connecting travelers directly to the source of their cup.

Each lot is hand-picked at peak ripeness, fermented in wooden trays for 12–15 hours, washed, and sun-dried to perfection. The result is a beautifully layered coffee with tasting notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and brown sugar — smooth, sweet, and full of Bolivian character.
